It was an iffy signal. She was deep and I had trouble centering her. But she made my day.

Nice find.
Gotta' love the Indians.

I FOUND ONE IN MICH. AT WIFE'S FOLKS HOUSE WAS A 1879 CLEAR GOOD SHAPE PENNY DOWN FIVE INCHES. NICE FIND GOOD!!!

Those deep signals always present a dilemma. Deep usually means old, so that is a good thing but....deep also means bigger hole. If I am in a person's yard, that's a bad thing lol. Congrats on a nice save.:icon_thumright:

Still on the hunt for my first IHP. way to go that's an awesome recovery!!!

I love them, good save, George is like a Indian Head Cent magnet, he almost finds one every time he hunts. I would love to know his total. Would make a good thread, he probably would have to take a couple of hours just to gather them all up, I bet he has some in his truck bed just sliding around, some in his pouch, some mixed in with the stinking Lincolns, some mixed in the Wheats, some in the garage and I know he has at least one buried in his backyard test site for testing machines and coils, Ha, lol Almost forgot, I bet he has given back more than I have found, lol. Early on I nicknamed them "pesky Indians" and we would laugh when he found a "Pesky".

Love the Indians. They come and go in spurts for me. So any day that turns up an Indian is a good day.
