Hurt my knee a while back, Dr. said no bending over or kneeling for a while. But a field I wanted to hunt was just cleared of hay, so out I went for a short hunt. I didn't want to walk far so I told myself I was digging anything over 35 on the AT pro till I was hurting. Next to an old river ford and wagon trail, I got out in the field away from the modern trash and got a decent 60 signal. Flip the plug and got my first 3 ringer about 4" down. Searched the area and dug a .53 caliber round ball. Next is a large melted or fired minie ball, not sure but I think its over .60 caliber if I had to guess. Last keeper was the buckle about 8 inches down, this rang in the solid 90's for the pro, it loved this target so much I was expecting a silver half.
Called it quits, felt lucky I had 4 keepers in about 10 holes. I need to go back, I think this field has not been hunted.
Good luck all.
