well i haved traveled over the world for 13 months before, did md'ing, but not for lost gold treasure, just for fun . alot of things u have to thing about when in other countrys , the biggest is , getting the treasure out of there, so if i did hunt for large amounts of gold r silver i would just stay here in the states, here i know i could get it home with no trouble.. as for selling it. just sell it in small amounts, but thats me..

rjnail is right. But just for the fun of finding treasure, I would say Southern Mexico. Just 500 feet from a paved highway they found an ancient ruins. That would be cool to find.

well....like a woman ...I have questions....
...could I keep everything I found? No Permits ....No courts...no customs...no shanghai's and couldnt get arrested for anything I might do....????
I would go to all the lost treasure mines and seek out famous legends sites ...if nothing else to see the what I have been reading about for years....Oak Island......Lost Dutch Mines ...Tayope....Titantic....Valley of the Pharoahs... Bactrian Gold ....The Bermuda Triangle and I would also find Bigfoot and take his picture!!

Man! If I could go where I wanted, when I wanted, etc., I'd be single again.

But then knowing me I'd just get married again and be right back where I started.

I'd best stay here.

It's easy to see the grass is greener syndrome, but for me I prefer the U.S. If i was to go somewhere else in the world, I'd like to try either England or the Caribbean.

Some place warm! Seriously I'd like to hunt the Roman ruins along the coast of northern Libya. Next choice would be some of the old pirate ports in the Carribean.
