Could be Mica it flakes.

If it can be crushed or flakes, its not gold. If after applying pressure it flattens, it's gold.

A geologist here. I love people who get out and search streams and localities for gold. I search often for gold in north east Georgia and North Carolina. Your mica sample is great. I think you have pyrite in your other samples. But you are on the right track keep searching. Perseverance will prevail. If you have any questions just ask. Good luck and happy hunting.

Geologist, well dont stop on the one thread I have a mystery rock posted. Found in N Ga and is black but I dont believe it is chert. Looks and feels like glass but isnt slag. I found it while searching for NA artifacts. Check it out.
