Here is one thought. Say another country loaned us trillions of dollars and there was no way to pay it back? Would they want some sort of collateral if they saw that there was no effort to stop spending or borrowing? Think they would want to aquire natural resources and or farmland for themselves, essentially take over a country without a shot fired?

Maybe I look to the future too much by looking at the past, some say I am very illogical because I play with too much math I guess.

How has it not worked out well?? I mean its not like we have been having mass killings everyday across the US. If people want to kill someone they will guns or not. But with no guns the government can screw with us more, pass more stupid bills and try to do more stupid things since no one can fight back. There wouldn't been a USA with out guns. This is why we Americans love our guns so dearly and the constitution gives us that right for as long as this great country survives.

I do believe that the laws dealing with felons should be looked at again. The same thing goes with military members who get out with a dishonorable discharge and have the same laws like felons.

I am not sure what you ment when you rewrote "stupid bills?" Are you asking what bills in particular or are you saying there are and always will be stupid bills? By stupid bills I ment stuff that the majority of citizens do not want but it still becomes law.

I am not saying that I should jump to arms if a bill passes that I disagree with all I am saying is that the second amendment keeps them from taking away other freedoms and trying to control our lives.

I believe that Mr Picker knew absolutely what you meant Arn, Then decided to twist it into something else by an obtuse interpretation of it for his own benefit. We see that alot now and especially in government.

We all love to be aghast at something I guess.

A really good example of making a point while being extremely dim is a cartoon I have seen of someone with the best armaments and firepower of 3 hundred years ago contrasted with someone with minimal armaments of the 20th century. I am still trying to understand it. But it matters not really, just someone that knows how tolerant we are.

Think they could make fun of some middle Eastern laws? Bet that is not the same "soft" target. May not get the same discussion even.
