IDing Old button - Tremble Plated London

Over the weekend I found what looks to be an old flat button. The front seems to have no design just flat but the back is marked "London Treble Plated". The shank is still attached and the number 30 is marked by the base of the shank. Sorry no pic.

Does anyone know how old the button is?

Other then the button I really did not find much more then modern coins and a 1989 rabies vaccination tag. I'm trying to rank the site on whether I should go back anytime soon since I get very few chance to MD.

The mark is what is called a "quality backmark," referring to the button's gilt finish. Since it's marked "London" and "Treble Plated," it dates sometime after the British Metal Button Act of 1796— say, c. 1800-40.
