What’s with the little globular metals I keep finding? Alot of times I find these little globular metals, sometime sheets, that are nonmagnetic, to heavy to be aluminum, to hard to be lead, with minimum oxidation. What are they, and is it worthwhile to identify them for there scrap value? I’m fairly familiar with gold, silver, iron, aluminum, lead, copper, and the common copper alloys. I’m assuming the most other common types of metals are nickel, tin, and zinc. Is there a simple way to determine the difference between these and other metals. I believe zinc tends to get white blisters as it oxidizes. Do others? I’ve thought about figuring the specific gravity, but that seems a little over the top. Any help or direction? Thanks.
