Anyone know what this is? What I do know is it is learning tool meant to demonstrate the steps in enameling a pendant or pin. It is in encased in plastic and it appears to be gold but I am not sure. The only way to find out would be to remove it from its enclosed plastic meaning destroying. The Idea Line or Ideal Line logo looks so familiar but I cannot remember where I have seen it before. The boy appears to be in a Revolutionary war uniform carrying a flute or fife. It looks like a logo for a freight carrier or a shipping line. I have searched but with no luck.

It's possible it is a fictitious company and logo, created and used for the purposed of this display. It might have been a teaching aid, or maybe just a display from manufacturing company to show clients the hard enameling process.

Nice set, regardless of the metal.

I think it's actually "Ideal Line" with the two words sharing the "L". There is an industrial coatings company by that name, but it's a different logo.

I found this but I don't think it is the same. I do know for a fact that the piece was used for educational purposes in jewelry making but the logo is making me crazy. It looks familiar but I can't place it.

Every few weeks, bump the thread. Not everyone sees everything...

I do. :P

"All seeing" is my "forte" ... except for that low tree branch the other day... and that poor lizards tail... and that idiot that decided that it was a good idea "to go" in front of me in traffic.

Oh...
And only about ehhh 300 other tings I did not see last week. :)

Ahh, sadly, all seeing is not nearly as important as all knowing, then you'd be omnisheeyint, which isn't like at all like being amish.
