I have a pin with crossed rifles with the letters UF on a bar over the top by N.S. Meyer, Inc. NY. Anyone know what the UF stand for and anything about it?

That is if the clutches are original to the piece. I know from personal experience that clutches wear out or get lost. Then they are replaced with whatever type is available at the time. In the photo, the clutch-pin attachment discs have "cleats" -- which means the insignia was manufactured sometime after WW2, up to the present year. Go to this webpage and scroll down almost to its end, to the part showing "Ballou clutches" (with time-dating info):
