Re: tag what kind

Must be Parker Davis.

As there is no city "Davis" in the state of Washington.

Could it be a luggage tag?

Re: tag what kind

It's actually a political watch fob issued for the 1904 presidential campaign of Democrat candidate Alton B. Parker and his vice-presidential running mate, Henry G. Davis. The design is intended to resemble a railroad baggage tag, with Washington, D.C. as the candidates' destination.

;D They were just cheap campaign items. had several makers and similar styles. Even the Parker - Davis buttons had different makers and similar styles... Good find! ::)
