Identification of this mineral vein

Hi all , new to the forum. Was just wondering if anyone could help me identify this vein I found in my holidays around the South Coast of NSW, Australia. I was thinking it was calcite but really have no experience at making such calls.

You have a piece of it? Calcite will fizz if acid is applied. Quartz will not and quartz will scratch regular window glass.

Great idea! Yes I do I tried the vinegar thing and there was no bubbling , so I went to the glass and it scratched !!
I’m still very close to the spot keen to go back and get more ��
