Hello!

Just found this forum and it looks fantastic. Seems like lots of helpful folk and interesting content. I look forward to more exploring of the website.

I would like some help identifying this rock. I found it in eastern Colorado near an old homestead on our property. So it could have been placed or it could be natural to the general area. There were some other "cool rocks" around, so it may have been a stash of rocks collected by someone.

Thanks in advance

My guess would be a river-tumbled geode. Agate surrounding a quartz center. Nice find. If you know anyone with a rock saw, ask them to slice it open for you.
