Does anyone have any ideas as to what this may be? I found it at a pre 1930s homestead. It is copper, slightly larger than a quarter, and reads 18 1/2 T. If I had to guess it would be some type of an electrical piece. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

It could be a coal token eighteen and a half ton.

That is very interesting! I have looked into that but have noticed that most of the coal tokens have some type of a company name on them. If it does however represent 18 and 1/2 tons @ the price of $1.78 ton in 1930 it would have been worth almost 33 dollars. That would be quite the sum of money back then! Thanks for the input!
