Ok sorry everyone. I'm talking about the object in the middle. I put the quarter and penny next to it for size comparison.

Back side of object. I'm guessing this is glue on the back & maybe came off a dresser handle. I don't know? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

What does it seem to be made of? Brass? Iron? Not that I have any ideas based on either, but just in case it helps in google searches.
I think Back of the Boat may be right about letters on the front... Do you see anything, along the border, in person?

Based on the size I'm guessing it used to glued on a bridle rosette.
