Tooth-pic ---- or home made hunting knife minus handle that was probably driven on to the pointed end... ;D
I gather that is a knife blade? very rusted? How long?

Sorry the Bowie knives sold a few yrs. ago..Hated to see them go but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes...I'll try and dig through our pic's we may still have a shot of them...This blade was wedged in a rock right above the two bowies...so I'd say they were there together and that this is probably civil war era maybe pre-war ? I can tell you that the Bowie knives are in the"Excavated Artifacts from battlefields and campsites of the Civil War 1861-1865" by Stanely S. Phillips....page 162 #3 this one is exactly like the two we had...
