Hoping someone can ID this. I felt a little video would better show the item than photos.
It may or may not be a tool of some sort? An almost perfect triangle.

This was found within sight of Mound Bottom. Found in the river so no I wasnt trespassing. :tongue3:

Thanks for your help.

Interesting item. There is a lot of debate over triangles in the past being used. You will have to research it on the net and decide for yourself as the possible uses that were given for them. Thanks, rock

I don't think anyone could actually "ID" that pc for you, its not a typed pc (at least that i know of in the indian artifacts category) If it has use or manufacturing marks on it then all we could do is speculate. cool rock though :icon_thumright:

Thanks for your input.
My only guess is a pestle of some sort.

I have no idea what that is but it is interesting no doubt. I would have picked that up too.

two sides look modified by flattening and to a point. the other side doesn't look finished. I couldn't say it was a preform anything or something in particular tool.

The sides and bottom of this stone are worked but not the side shown.... I believe this is also TN, was with some stuff given to me. bunch of bird points and some round pebbles with holes.

Thanks Tom.
Looks like yours is made from the same kind of stone as well.
Odd pieces we both have.

I guess we may never know for certain what they are.
