Found this tag at a park that was developed through the CCC and/or WPA. It looks a tad larger, and slightly thinner (7grams), than most of the tool tags around here but there's no way of attaching it. The back and edge are smooth. Any ideas as to the name and what it would have been used for?

Not sure what it is. I found one similar last week with a hole in the top and just 114 stamped in it. Still wondering myself.

The one you found was probably a tool tag. Tool tags were used quite a bit in the coal and iron mines around here.

Komatsu (Changzhou) Construction Machinery Corp. [KCCM]

Heavy equipment and industrial use equipment (vehicles, machinery...) since 1921.

Just a guess. Could be a tool or equipment marker... or check.

I missed seeing the K. You might have nailed it. Thanks.
