shotgun shell end the firing cap is missing...

looks like a clutch from a remote control car gas engine. wrapped around the inside middle of the housing would be a spring that would be tight around the shaft running through the middle. that spring would allow the car to stay still while it was at idle, and expand when the engine was revved engaging the inside of the housing to make the wheels turn. although what you have does look pretty old that was the first thing that came to mind... ill try to post a pic if i can.

Looks like an end for an old roll up shade. The raised pieces around the middle is the ratchet part that holds it down until realised. Tony

old shot gun shell case, missing the plastic and primer, looks to have been a spent 10 or 12 gauge shell that was burned and buried a while back.....thats my guess

The window shade cap looks about right.......my firtst thought was the end cap from an old BB gun.

I say that it looks like the part that went on the bottom of an old glass Christmas ornament so it could be hung from a Christmas tree. The part I’m referring to was used as an adapter to install the hook in.
