Id needed please possible percussion cap

Some sort of metal inside,color of silver, outside seems to be copper or brass. Found on trail in woods.

Looks to me like a copper jacketed bullet that hit something probably like a .45 Pretty common find

Yep, you've got a fired bullet there. A measurement in 100ths of an inch will tell what caliber it is.
