We need very precise measurements to ID a bullet.

Like Matt said, we need measurements, of diameter and length in 100ths of an inch. I can't tell if the two grooves on your bullet are reeded, (think edge of a dime) if so that will date it post 1880s. Interestingly enough, I don't see any rifling grooves on it which I would expect on a fired bullet....

11mm is around .44 cal but if eyeballed with a ruler could be right for a fired .45 cal... My first thought being that I'm assuming you found it in England.... is that it's possibly a bullet from a .45 Martini Henry rifle... I could be wrong, but that would be a good place for you to start some research and look for a match
