ID Needed: Antique China Cup found in trash pile, IT HAS A MAKER'S MARK

I found this china cup in three pieces in a trash pile from 1890 through around 1905. I found the first two pieces around a week ago, and the last piece today, as expected it's chipped in some places, but I like how ornate it is. Anyways, what can you tell me about the cup, and can someone tell me what the maker on the Maker's Mark is?

Wow, Thank you very much. I had know clue it was that old, being in a trash pit from around 1900, it was probably used for a while then discarded when it broke.

Thanks Don, and Bramblefind, you guys nailed it. Before, all I knew was that it was a cup, and before 1910. Now I know so much more. Thanks again.

  • Coinman123,
  • Design Registration Marks or Kite marks with – Rd – in the center were used between 1842 and 1883. Use caution, however, in interpreting the date marks. The dates only refer to the date the design was first registered and should only be used to give you an indication of the earliest possible date a piece may have been manufactured.
