I originally found this large point in south Georgia about 5 years ago, and rediscovered it today while going through some of my boxes. Can anyone give me an idea of type and age? First and second pictures show both sides.

With the broken base it's hard to tell if it's a stemmed point or corner notched. Those are major features in identifying a point. It's still very nice.

I agree with Newnan, hard to tell with the base damage. I thought Savannah River until I saw the 2nd picture. It's a nice find 👍

Out of my area but it looks like it could be a Wade.🤔🤔

I showed it to some local collectors and they all agree it is a Savannah river.

Lots of the SR points have that base in southern Georgia. Here they are more stemmed
