ID help wanted.

Hi there

Found these 2 Items in my yard this morning. ?On the left is made of copper and seems to be a small bowl or the like. ?it is 1 1/2" dia.
On the right is a total mystery to me. ?It is 3" long and 5/8" in diameter at the base. it has one small hole in it that could have been used to screw or nail this item to a pole or something? ?not thanks for any suggestions

the one on the right looks like it goes on the end of a pole and a mop head of some kind hooks to it

Yeah, definitely attached to the end of a pole, I have seen similar in Australia.
It was inserted in a matching hole and rotated. Used to open early wind out windows too high to be reached by hand? or similar

The small bowl is about the right size to be the "dish" on old victrolas that held the spare needles. Most I've seen were nickel plated though. Good luck with the ID. It's always cool to finally figure out some of this "stuff" really is!
