ID help please

Hi folks,

I dug this up this morning and have been searching like a mad man trying to ID it. I've found all sorts of other 1887 Victoria golden jubilee info and pics but nothing that matched this. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

So many different commemorative items I find for this event, but no examples of what you have come up quickly. I'd say it a buckle or maybe a lid to a little metal box??

I thought lid at first too. But I'm I'm leaning more towards sash buckle or something along those lines.

I wonder if we'll love, celebrate and sing songs about the new queen we're about to receive as Victoria was to the empire Probably not.

The only time I celebrate the good ole queen is when I get a paid day off in her honor, of dig up an old silver lol
