That's a neat Griffin button .. I have no idea of its origins, but I like it!

Give us a picture of the back and if the backmark doesn't show up well, try to read it for us. Also try a couple more pictures of the front.

the back is empty and destroyed, currently I do not have other photos in front.

The back is destroyed (rusted out)? Most of the times that is a clear sign that it is modern. The condition of the front of your button appears to be modern, looks like a blazer or suit coat button. This may be verified with a picture of the back, even if it is corroded, that's one of the signs that we are looking for.

Maybe an early 20th century livery button. If it were British military (for example) I would expect to see a crown.
The griffin is in the rampant regardant position if it helps any in the search for a match.

Then I would say that it doesn't really look rusted out. It looks like the back piece has separated from the front. In this picture where I have the blue tacks is the golden
guilt separating from the base metal because of rust?

Oh I should have written that I'm using the bluegreen verdigris that I see in the reverse photo as an indicator that the back didn't rust out.
