I have been thru Rockwood, TN and I doubt that there is a TPC course around there. It is sort of off the beaten path. I may be wrong.

It is made out of iron. I don't know if they would have made them that way for golf. Not unless it is very old golf badge.

I agree Alabear, this is not related to the mentioned golf association. The TPC started around 1980 or so? And they do not have a course in Rockwood, TN (but, yes there are golf courses there). And the construction of your item would appear to be at least 70 yrs old. Beyond that I have no idea, but I didn't want to see research going in the wrong direction.

Thanks for correcting me on the golf course. I had no idea that there was a course there.

Do any of you think it could be Tennessee Phone Company? Did the phone company workers use badges along time ago?

I have a street car conductors badge that looks very much the same. It's from the Sand Springs Railway and it has SSRWY on it with a number. Was there ever a trolly line near there? Monty
