I like to think I know what I’m doing when it comes to looking for/finding artifacts. But when it comes to ID’ing and knowing types and such I know nothing. There are lots I would like to know, but I’ll just post these for now. If you have an idea on what type of point they are and a possible age that would be awesome.

First 3 pics, what I assume was used as a drill of some sort? More of a help ID’ing on this one instead of aging.

Fourth pic, a normal flake that have some amazingly perfect Knapping, making a insane edge. Practice piece? Little cutting tool?

Fifth and sixth piece, a heart breaker to me. I was really feeling lucky the day I found this. I can only imagine what the rest of it looked like. How about a ID and age of this one?

Seventh and eighth piece is one I call brimstone. (Yes I name my pieces) he is rounded on top which I assume was meant to be used as a blunt type thing? On a possible atlatl? Help me out with some info.

The remaining two pics just any info on timeline and type.

Thanks! IMG_1298.webpIMG_1299.webpIMG_1301.webpIMG_1302.webpIMG_1303.webpIMG_1304.webpIMG_1305.webpIMG_1306.webpIMG_1307.webpIMG_1308.webpIMG_1309.webpIMG_1310.webp

The grey broken base is a Folsom point that failed while being made from what I can tell.

Nice finds , is the one in 4th pic obsidian ? What state are these from it will help ID them

I'd call that broken base a Clovis. Probably snapped it while fluting the first side. Nice artifact and very collectable. Gary
