I would like some help identifying this object please.

I found this two months ago in a creek in Middle Tennessee. It is a brick- red color with what I can best describe as indentations that look like maybe something was poured into (this is a darker red). I would appreciate any suggestions as to what this could be, if anything. Thank you.

1st - I noticed this was your very first post Jripley - so, Welcome Aboard! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).
