look into herkimer diamonds, i may have misspelled it, but they have twin terminated ends as your find does

Thy are terminated and some are double terminated quartz crystals. Hobby shops and jewelry makers and spiritual Rock hounds pay a dollar or two for these depending on the size.

The specimens you found appear to be Quartz. They won't seem to load when I click on them. The photo you are comparing them to are Quartz as well. They are Quartz specimens coined "Herkimer Diamond" but they are not diamonds, they are Quartz crystals. Very nice specimens you have there!

Gold and sulphides are often found together. He's not saying you found gold, but should be keeping an eye out for it.

Looks kinda like chalcopyrite or pyrite.

Gold and pyrite sometimes occurs together, if you have more of it or if you dont care to keep those as specimens crush a peice into powder size and stick it into a gold pan with warm water and a little dish soap, give the pan the gold bounce, tap the upper right side of the pan a couple times then lean the pan downwards washing the lighter material to the bottom lower part of the pan, repeat until you see or dont see gold.
