What's going on everyone? Not the best week obviously, but it was certainly not the worst either.. The results for the first week of 2013 are 24 keepers... 19 Rosies, 1 merc and 4 - 40%ers... At least I broke my halves skunk run.. 2 of them came out of my boxes and two were scored from CWRs. Happy hunting everyone..

Yea not bad.. The others are pretty tarnished but i will take them... My dime numbers have just been down lately.. Hoping for a big box soon. That's how it goes around the holidays.. More chances to hit big boxes, but with dimes you especially have a good chance of getting tons of skunks because of all the dumps..

I just don't have a lot of luck with CRHing in my area. It's pretty bone dry around here silver-wise with the exception of nickels. I usually find at least one war nick or a buffalo or a proof or something good in a box. I've only had 3 boxes ever that didn't have anything in them.

Then hit nickels hard... Have you tried all different types of couriers in you area with all types of coins? It took me a couple of tries before I found any that produced anymore for me.. Obviously I found a decent dime vein but halves are skunky around these parts.. At least i have been seeing a couple lately.. Shop around.. Test the waters from all different branches and couriers.. If you order for awhile and the boxes don't produce, close the account and open a new one somewhere else.. I bet you could find a solid dime vein.. Don't give up Boris.. You will find it

I do, but I also do halves on the weekend. I don't know of any banks in my area that are serviced by anything but Loomis. I don't have a lot of money to float around in other banks, but I am very small time as far as hunting goes. I hit good streaks too occasionally, but have had bad luck with halves and dimes. I search nickels the most and I am hoping to try and keep that going this year.
