Amen, brother. As a career cop, I would rather chase an armed burglar down a dark alley than do what you do. That bad guy might give up the gun.... but fires have no soul.... they never quit! THANK YOU TTC
 

TerryC's right. When I was first on the scene at a fire, I was always REAL happy to see the FD roll up. Is it very noisy there, riverdiver?
 

Not only is it noisy but in the late afternoon when we are relaxing in our day room the big cargo jets take off and actually interrupt our satelite signal for the tv, always seems to happen in the middle of a movie too.
 

Thanks for the nice comments guys, the USA seems kinda down on career FF's these days so any positive words are much appreciated.

TTC- I started my career as a Marine Patrol Police Officer but in NH that is a seasonal position and fires dont care if the lakes are frozen, so here I am 22 years later and about 8 years away from retirement...Thanks for doing what you do, I'll take a "deck gun" over a "hand gun" any day, lol.
