I think y'all are gonna like this!

I just got back from a coin show and sold all my halves.

This was my first experience at a show and I had Pierce with me. All he kept saying was "daddy look at all the keepers"

I was offered a range of 10.5x to 14x for 90% and $.70 to $2.50 for 40%.

The way I figured it I got 90% of melt and I didn't have to pay shipping.

I'm quite happy

Nice to hear. I plan on selling many of my 40%, perhaps a few rolls of 90% in a few weeks--if silver prices hold up. I have a wedding to pay for in April.

Good job. I plan on getting rid of some of my junk silver at a coin show here in a bit. I'm hoping I can get close to 90% melt, but we'll see. I plan on investing in some nicer coins with the money I get.

I mentioned a while back that the best place to sell your 40%ers and 90%ers are at coin shows. There are always a lot of dealers at these shows, so you can shop around for the best price. A tip is not to let them know how many rolls you have until they quote you a price. Then ask them if they would raise their price if you sold them 30 or 40 rolls. Then they will always go up a little. Just my two cents worth,

I may be selling some 40% to APMEX today...we'll see. Got a quote for $5300 to $5400 for a $1000 face bag from my coin dealer locally.

Yes it is...I had a roll of 40% before I made it home, not bad from $210 grocery store bank cold call.
