diggit, the mirror is reminicent of an art nouveau style. Any idea of the artist's name? Have you tried researching it? Otherwise you have some interesting finds.

I resized the pics..they were kinda huge and they are bad enough small..
A friend who collects Limoge says it looks like it could be something of their line.
I have no idea, but it is heavy enough to make a decent weapon in an emergency..

If your friend is right, it's hard to find a Limoges hand mirror with a portrait. Most are floral if not mistaken. There should be a Limoges mark somewhre on it if that's the case. As I said, the artist's name will help a lot.

The rosary is possibly made with cocoa beans or pressed cocoa. When I went to the Vatican city there were shops that sold rosaries made from rose petals that were compressed into beads. Just a thought.

It is a Limoge Fragonard mirror.

Go to ebay, and just type in Limoge Fragonard, and you will get a ton of hits....mostly plates, etc. but there are a lot of oddities, like lipstick holders, brooches, etc.
