I wouldn't worry about it. My agency has the same type of stores. I can go in and buy pins, hats, mugs, shirts and things of that nature. I can then give them to whomever I want. The pin you found very likely wasn't lost by an agent. More likely a friend, family member or acquaintance.

Yup - I have all kinds of US Marshal stuff from friends... why the phone number on it though?

From reading the site I'm guessing the number is probably for information purposes, events merchandise or that sort of what not

Did a reverse phone look up and the number is unpublished. However, it does show that it is in Washington, DC

Did you find it at the In-N-Out Burger restaurant?
