Got some free time today so you know I had to go swinging. I went on the outskirts of my honey hole and hit this button at a solid 7 on the 800. Also eyeballed this glass wine bottle top that I love. Got some lead and things but the button is something I wish I could get a date on. Anyone knows I’m all ears. Thanks for always letting me show my humble finds. That glass stopper isn't for a wine bottle. It's for borosilicate glassware, used in chemistry labs.

Here you see one in a volumetric flask...fg5640-5qr_series_volumetric_flasks_preview.jpeg

Your button style became popular mid 1800's so I'd easily put it in the Civil War period.

There has to be at least one large cent floating around in that area. Hope you find all of them!
