I think it's a Rosary?

In a spot that I've been through a few times, I dug this up. I think it's a Rosary. Not sure what it's made of (no markings...only Italy on the back). It looks to have a little age on it.

I agree with Tom, & if it says Italy on the back, there is a good chance it could be sterling.

looks goldish in the picture but might be silver 925 sterling ... it is indeed a rosary

Nice rosary and a neat find. I don't believe it's either gold or silver. The left and right ends of the cross show signs of corrosion. That wouldn't happen with gold or silver.
