I think it's a circle with a spikey thingy

So what do you think this is? I found it in the same cellar hole that I found my glass insulator.

In case you cannot read it. It says "Reversible" on 1 side and "Rex" on the other. It says 6 inches on both sides.

it's a Damper from a Stove

It goes in the Pipe that exits the stove
& Is turned to Damp off the Fire

Well nobody was born knowing what stuff is...

This place does make it easy tho.

Why not? At least I won't be the only one then But seriously, everyone helps no matter what or how often you post items, that is a rarity and "coming from a newbie here myself" you feel like people want to help you. Unlike other sites, no drama, just knowledge and you learn a lot from the folk here. Yep, once again, as a newbie here, I can't say I've ever felt more welcome in a forum. People are awesome here.

It was garbage when they tossed it out. Now, they're artifacts, and everyone can learn something from them. I love it when people show everything they found, not just the what's its. It's ALL GOOD.
