I sold a bunch of coins...

I know this isn't entirely CRHing related, but it sort of is. I went to a coin show recently and sold a bunch of coins. Most of them were part of my general coin collection (not the CRHing part). I sold about 80 or so war nickels, a roll of silver dimes and a few other odds and ends (from CRHing). I ended up getting around 90% of melt value for my silver (plus a bit more for some of the nicer coins from my general collection).

Pic of the CRHing stuff I sold:

This is the stuff I bought (I still have about half of the money I made off of the sale). Keep in mind, I had a good deal of other junky coins that I sold from my general collection:

Needless to say, I'm very happy with the additions to my collection. I overpaid for the ones with the prices listed, but I got a pretty good deal on the slabbed ones (at least according to the PCGS price guide--don't know how accurate that is). The V-nickel has some funky toning on it...I'm hoping it hasn't been messed with.

I think you did real well. Got rid of junk and bought some excellent coins for your collection.
Nice job

Sweet work there. Slabbed coins are always good to have. Gets rid of some of the junk pile and gives you more room too.

Sweet, looks like you got some great coins FingerGrime

Nice. Love those large cents/half cents. That is one I still need for my type set. One day...
