I screwed up PICS! (maybe not)

Well, I got my permissions from all parties! I wasn't dressed for it but I trudged back to my Spot to take the promised pictures and wound up swinging that thing for a while. In all about 2 hours. My toes were cold (tennies!) Oh Boy! I won't try to post all pics unless requests roll in but here are a few. Ok...How do I change my picture file size to keep a decent resolution and be under 128 kb? I tried but can't figure it out. Will post when I get an answer.

Do you have an image editing program? If so, make sure you're saving them as jpg's and bump the compression up to about 20% or so, and the width between 640-700. Hope this helps!

You can download a "power toy" for XP home or pro, direct from Microsoft that is a simple image resizer......using no other "image editing" program. It adds a menu item when you "right click" on a picture that allows you to resize it to several different sizes....mostly geared towards putting pics on the net. Here's the link to the file at Microsoft. Its a tiny download. It gives you the option of changing the original file, or make a copy to the new size you choose.

hope this helps.

Lets see if this works. The resizer works great. Thanks Sompa.

Re: I screwed up PICS!

Man, Will this snow ever melt! It was almost 50 degrees today and there's still 4 inches of snow back in them woods. I just want to a local ballfield and checked the bleachers. They were easy to move, so I pushed them back cause there wasn't any snow under them. Well I got a whole lot of hits but only 1 clad dime...The ground was frozen solid to about 4 inches. Forget it. Maybe I'll try tomorrow before the game.
