I saw the ultimate yardsale car this weekend.

I pulled up to a church rummage sale and near the front door was a big black four door Lincoln Towncar Limousine. The motor was running, I assume because the air conditioning was on inside, and a driver was standing next to the car.

Reminds me of years ago when certain members of the Jewish mafia would pull up to the local Jewish thrift store in Hallandale, Fl. and load up with anything they wanted for free from the back room. Back then it was furs, designer clothing, and art. It was one of the fringe benefits for being in the "millionaires club". The things I have seen over the years.

It's not something that's talked about too much in comparison to the Italians.
They were well known in NYC and had ties to many large cities, including but not limited to Miami, Las Vegas and Chicago. Most of them were Russian Jews and today have emigrated or are closely connected to the Russian mafia or the Israeli mafia. Meyer Lansky was probably the most infamous of the Jewish Mobsters, other locals include/d Alvin Malnik, Joel Steinger, Samuel P. Cohen (aka Big Sam) and many local politicians, though you would never know it.
