That will tell you , 1/2, 1, 2, 4, or 8 reale.

You know they're out there. Lots of trade going on up here back in the day. The French, The British, the americans and of course the natives. Maybe one of Anthony Wayne's soldiers dropped it on the way to Kekionga. Awesome find!!!
 

for the amount of time they were legal tender a Reale can show any place any time :thumbsup:

I think it's a 1/2 reale. It's about the size of dime. It was about 6inches down. I must say, I'm one happy Buckeye. Thanks again and Happy Hunting to All!
 

From one former NW Ohio Buckeye to another, big time congratulations! I've got my eye on a field back home there too, but they haven't harvested the darn soybeans yet, dang it! Permission slip in hand, and can't get dirty! Great find. :headbang:

I got a 1777 half and a 1762 1 reale out of lake erie near vermilion ohio so yes indeedy they are out there. congrats.
