All Treasure Hunting
I was only there for 2 days with no inside information on the area.
After a lot of scouting and walking I finally found an area with some promise on the last day at least I'll know where to start the next time I go back.
Maybe I could figure out a field or two just creeks this time.
Really only some flakes one looks like it may be a tool with a bit of a graver spur.

As the old saying goes.... "You were not in Kansas anymore" That is not a sunny beach. It is a little harder than one expects but the area looks perfect. Did you detect any? See your glazed piece. I hope you had to wear a jacket and thermal boots! haha
Nice trip I know it was fun. Did you take a partner along?

Funny guy! It was just me out there I had my detector I also had boots and gloves lol some of the pieces I couldn't pick up off the ground because they were frozen down.
I couldn't even begin to detect.. The first morning I walked a creek was 13 degrees

Good. I think everyone from the sunny state should have to suffer through a little cold weather hunt on occasion, lol. The area looks promising and looks like it gets turned up often. All high water rain and mud here. I hope to be sifting before long.
Great pics and just two days in a strange area you did well. Know it was fun!

It was... Fun that is... comfortable... now that's another story.
I think my next trip I'm going to pay a visit to one of the several members I keep in contact with here.
You'll like this one.. one place I've been invited has family property with Civil War trenches on it that have not been touched ..MUHAHA

Give me a shout if you are back up in S.C. It's hit and miss a lot of times on spots to hunt arrowheads but sometimes I have a productive spot or a old home place to swing a md. Got a old hunting cabin on some land you can stay if ya don't mind semi-roughing it.

Sounds perfect..thanks! I will remember that

I actually wandered by foot back and forth across the North and South Carolina border where I was

Nice pics glad you were able to go and enjoy the cold. Sure was hot last week in Florida. Glad to be back in the cooler weather here.

Definitely two different worlds.
Thanks

That's a cool name for it but everyone pretty much believes life started in the ocean :-) I took this the day you got here.
I tried several times to catch the Dolphins that were surfing the waves and jumping out of them but found it almost impossible with a cell phone

It was a shame I had so much work to do when I visited maybe next time I will make it to the surf.

Now the scenery while looking down is more like this
