I needed a metal detecting fix.

Yes it's very addictive. I would compare it to a gambling addiction. Always hoping and wanting to get that next big score.

Were all doomed, there maybe a fix but no cure...:laughing7:

Yes the hobby is addictive but the weather is nice down here. Sorry about that just had to through it in.

I agree with OBN, “There may be a fix, but no cure…” So I will continue getting my fix!

I will work the woods until it freezes, then watch videos and lastly make a test bed in my basement. :laughing7:

I cannot wait until warmer weather.

Regards,

Tomorrow is supposed to be 51 in morn... was gonna go out to detect till I heard that...
I have not been feeling that well... don't wanna get sicker.
I can handle the cold... it is the wind that gets ya.

It's been a year for me. Due to a fall last spring. MD withdrawls ! Heading to florida in a few days, cast on my left arm and all. As Popeye would say. That's all I can stands. I can't stands no more. Gonna swing till my other arm falls off. :coffee2:

The only thing to do is get better/warmer winter gear lol. hh gl -Joe

The temperature was in the teens. The wind was blowing 40 mph. The beach was covered with debris. My fingers were immediately numb. I found only 45 cents in clad, but it was worth it. This hobby is addictive. Anyone else have this problem?

I guess it is similar to what Forest Gump said about a box of chocolates. When when you get a signal you never know what you're gonna get. That's what keeps it interesting.
