I need some knowledge on a bullet

I found this 2 ring bullet in New Orleans park about 6" down. My first two ringer I have ever found, a check on my bucket list. Does anybody know how old it may be?

The vertical lines in the grooves are called cannelures. They started doing this around 1880 I think so it's newer that. The white patina takes some time so I think it's pretty old.

I didn't know about white patina shows age. If that's the case I also excited by this homemade lead fishing weight I found in the same exact area I found two weeks ago. Wasn't sure the age of it.

And I love how the thumb and the finger fit perfect how it was made.
