They call them pocket, backup, 25 Auto, or throwaway pistols. Like this one, .25 Cal is the same as 6.35 mm:

At first I saw DEPCSE, now I see that what I thought was a C is a O, I see it now, DEPOSE:

Pieper 6.35mm, made in Belgium.

It's a clone of a FN Model 1906 (without the grip safety), a Browning design made by FN in Belgium. There are dozens of licensed and unlicensed copies and variations. Colt marketed it in the US as their Model 1908 Vest Pocket Auto (.25 ACP). Goldfinger had a gold plated one in the Bond book.

It looks similar to this one I have . it's marked ''fabrique nationale d'armes de guerre herstal belgique depose Browning patent " ( it's a 380 )

The "depose" part of the marking just means "registered" in French, not part of the specific make or model... Incase there were confusion on that.
