I see why you picked it up, I'm no good with rocks but plenty on here are. What may help them is roughly what part of the Country it was found?

so get a picture without the flash in natural sunlight, rough location of the find, and maybe even a streak test on the bottom of a mug or something

I Also tested the rock with gold testing acid and it had no effect to the rock And when I had found this rock it was big solid piece but I took a hammer to it.

Ok, so what did the hammer do? Break it into this smaller piece or have no effect? ie. do you now have lots of small pieces?

The whole world is made up of rocks.
Do you know any children that might help you read the responses and narrow this location down a bit ?

I scraped the rock on a glass cup all it did was scratch the cup it didn't do a thing to the rock.

I collected some rocks from a camp ground in the sierras that look just like yours. The place i got mine from was the edge of the campground road. For some reason they used that materiel mixed with the asphalt.

The green rock in the top photo looks like slag from smelting metal. And the tiny gold one in the hand picture looks like fools gold.
