they look like marble beads.

The one in your hand looks like a metamorphic rock of some sort. Gary

pics are way too blurry to make out the details - try taking the pics outside in natural light and make sure they're focused on the rock, not your hand

the foliated one looks like garnet bearing schist, but that's all I can tell you without better pics
