Sorry I can't be any help on this one. Justed wanted to say that I thought it was very cool looking. Certainly looks ancient!

Way ta go!!

Really nice ring.

Maybe a jeweler could tell you some more info, such as when that style was poplular and what its made out of :)

agree with swr...

Looks like the real deal, hope so! I would take it to a jeweler. HH and nice find, Mike

here's a picture after I did some good cleaning to it.I noticed that each ring has been folded to shape. Also I don't know alot about jewelry yet,but if it is modern silver wouldn't it be stamped. Thanks for the replies, but I've got my fingers crossed that it's not modern, but if it is,I'm very happy with the find.As for taking it to a jeweler. Can they age it??HH GL...NATE

Awesome find Nate!!!! :o

;)

I like it a lot. Looks old to me. 1715, 1815, 1915, no matter. It's still old in appearance. Maybe check with someone from the Mel Fisher Treasure Salvors Group.

I don't have much experience with this field, but I would guess it to be pretty darn old indeed. Keep us updated!

Dude I think your freakin rich! thats looks atmost early 19th century! prolly 18th!

Son, It could very easily be a 1715 "S" ring (Santiago). Given the location of the find and the type of craftsmanship it's worthy of further research or appraisal. While that's being done . . . go back out there and get one of the GOLD ones. It's waiting for you. You just have to find it. ;)

Thanks for the replies everyone just got a chance to get back on here and check.I have actually emailed Kim fisher and haven't heard anything yet(he's probably pretty busy). My next thing is to take it to a jeweler, but I'm trying to find a trustworthy one.Welcome on POPS!!I was wondering if you were ever going to get in on this website.Ther are alot of coin questions on here that you could probably help out with.Anyway I am getting out there tomorrow for the day so maybe I'll be able to add another find.Again thanks for the replies.HHGL!!NATE
