I may have forgotten to add these photos in my original post. I know to many this is not the most exciting find. 99% of my friends and family think these are "just rocks" or "just quartz" and nothing special. I think they are awesome, I have never seen anything like the these. I wish you could see these the way I see them. The camera on my phone sucks and just does not do these any justice. So I apologize for that. Thank you to anyone who can give me some answers. Btw, I found these on the side of a mountain coming home from Nevada ( i live in Sacramento, CA)

In your last picture with everything on the table you have one shiny piece that is split (cracked) in a line, gold would not do that.

More than likely iron pyrite, fools gold -- especially the last picture. The first picture looks like it's either iron pyrite (fools gold) of some real gold in the quartz. Does the color in the quartz shine in the shade, odds are it's gold. Dull in the shade, bright gold looking in the sun, iron pyrite.
