Hullo,
I did a nice long low tide hunt today, and found a good deal of clad. Aside from that, not much else to speak of. The highlight of this hunt however came with a lady walking up to me and asking me for her help. I asked her what was the trouble, and she said she had lost her ring, and needed me to find it. So I followed her up to where she thought it was in the dry sand, and 5 swings of the detector later, out pops a beautiful white ring. I dont know much about the ring itself, as I handed it to her promptly, but she was crying over the ordeal as soon as I found it. She then tried to give me $50 for what I ahd done, and I refused. She then offered $40, and I told her $20 was more than enough. She forced a little more on me, I gave her a hug, and off I went. Sure is nice to help someone out like that. She was beside herself with greif over losing her wedding band, and to have it back was so amazingly overwhelming to her.
I wish I had some pictures of it all, but I cant take a camera since I get very wet, and dont have a waterproof camera. But I wanted to share the story anyhow. Hope you are all raking in the loot,
